PakExp On The iPad!

Just a brief update before a full post-race report. In Friday’s enduro, PakExp was running a solid second at hour four after starting last. Karl Thomson and Angelo Dinkov delivered the PakExp #786 car to Jack Baruth in P2, fifteen seconds behind the Bimmerworld car in P1, when, on his out lap, the ECU failed.
The NASA SE organizers graciously permitted the PakExp team to continue with another entry in the race with #787 so that we could finish the race.
Details to follow.

At this weekend’s race meeting at Putnam Park, Pakistan Express #787 finished second on Saturday and won Sunday’s race. 786 struggled with mechanical issues for fifth place finishes each day.
In the spirit of great racing drivers, here’s another BBC doc for your viewing enjoyment. Graham Hill’s the subject and it’s worth noting that this driver won the F1 WDC, the Indy 500 and Le Mans. Word.
And for you youngsters, yes, he’s related to Damon Hill.

Mark Stewart, Sir Jackie’s son, produced this fine BBC bio of Jim Clark, the legendary Formula 1 driver who died in 1968. I hope you enjoy this video as much as we did.
